Seventeen fifth-graders competed in this year's Battle of Books. After reading the books
Maze of Bones, The Westing Game and
The Gollywhopper Games earlier this year
, students competed in teams to complete challenges, like unscrambling character names and completing sudoku puzzles. Congratulations to Mr. Kosinski and Mrs. Djakovich's teams, this year's champions. At this morning's award ceremony, the champions were given trophies and all participating students were given goody bags and a book of their choice. Congratulations to all students who competed in this year's Battle of the Books!
